Social Psychologist

A social psychologist studies behaviour of groups, including how you would likely behave in social settings and how groups may influence your behaviour. These studies help investigate a wide range of topics including attitudes, prejudice, communication, interpersonal relationships, aggression, and persuasion. They help in fostering healthier and more productive groups. Social psychologists that work towards this goal may help create community programs and public awareness campaigns. Some social psychologists are also trained to counsel you if you are affected by a social problem such as corruption, inequality, insecurity and insurgencies, unemployment and domestic violence.
