Personality is the field within psychology that studies people’s thoughts, feelings, behaviours, aspirations, wants, and interests. Therefore, it covers a wide range of important psychological characteristics.
Personality assessment involves techniques designed to measure one’s personality. In other words, this involves the administration, scoring, and interpretation of empirically supported measures of personality traits and styles by trained professionals/specialists. We do a personality assessment to refine clinical diagnosis, structure and inform psychological interventions and increase the accuracy of behavioural prediction. Consequently, personality assessment can be used at the hospitals, human resources departments of organizations, the law court, etc.
Our personality assessment process involves a battery of tests (i.e. multiple tests). This includes objective tests such as the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory – MMPI and Myers and Briggs Type Indicator. It also includes projective tests such as the Draw a Person Test and The Incomplete Sentence Construction. Finally, the psychologists depend on clinical interviews and observations to inform and buttress findings from the tests.
It is important to note that our personality assessment can only be conducted physically. Therefore, you’ll be required to choose a test location for your personality assessment in Lagos (Surulere, Lekki or Sangotedo) or Abuja (Maitama).
